M-Audio Delta 66 Soundcard

Sometimes I hear static-like pops where the sound skips and plays choppy at times... Any tips on how to avoid the glitch?! thanks in advance... using Windows XP .

I've never used that card but whenever someone mentions clicks, pops, glitches, the first thing I think of is the drivers. Do you have the latest drivers for that card?

ya i have the latest drivers ...someone told me its a system related issue vs. hardware

Phayze, I'm not sure if the Delta 66 has the same settings as my 2496, but if there's a setting in the soundcard's control panel that says "Reset rate when idle", that should be UNCHECKED. I had the same problem for quite a while, and just fixed it the other night by doing this. Let me know if it works for you!

Thanks Fam, I do have that Unchecked..still seemm to be having problems.. i been tryin to holla @ M-Audio lately.
