MBOX and MPC 1000

I'm thinking about investing in both of these 2 piece of equipment and I was wondering if the MPC 1000 could work with the MBOX or some alternative way it could work. Thanks in advance.

The M-Box has two line ins, where you can choose mic/line/instrument. So you just hook the outs of the MPC to the in on the M-Box, set it to line, and record the MPC. I'm guessing you can mute tracks on the MPC, so you can just record each track individually.
