Ok, well I've peeped your tuts. I found them on a quest for MIDI litteracy. You can probably help, cause your runnin a similar setup.
I have an MPC1000, usb midisport 1x1 mk-audio, and various different sequencer demos. I'm tryin to decide what to buy.
What I want to do is use my MPC pads to trigger MIDI events. You use the 2000XL, I use the 1000
this is how MPC is set
MODE-MIDI/SYNC:
Active track receive channel:ALL
Soft thru:AS TRACK
Sync in :1
Sync out:A
In each sequencer, from FL, to SONAR, to whatever. I can't get this MIDI shit to work.
I've played with options and all. I was MIS Howard U. Program interfaces ain't shit. There's a secret ya'll ain't tellin me. Give it up kid. lol
