mixing down to 2 tracks...left & right

can someone tell us what db the mixdown should b at ...left & right master channels.cause i heard it's something like -14 db? & then its ready 4 mastering.

-14db is unneccessary. I advise recording with 6db of headroom and leaving the mastering engineer at least 3bd of headroom.
