Mixing without Visual Meters/Indicators

The original post & video was deleted. In short, sometimes it's nice to mix without meters to put your ears to the test.. but meters definitely have their place, and give us guidelines which we should be constantly checking!

I definitely go by ear but like in the poll above, I pretty much just keep an eye on the master channel. But it also depends on what kind of tracks I have loaded up, like if one of them I know is a bit loud, then I'll check that too.
