I thought I knew my MPC. Anyway I finally got the 8 out for my MPC and at the same time got the Delta 1010 with the PCI interface card. Can anybody tell me how I can get each track to play out on an individual output, ie. track 1 out 1, track 2 out 2......?
Your havin trouble with assigning the instruments to different channels?

To use the outs, you don't assign a track to an output, you assign a sound to an output.
So, say you have a kick on pad A1:
- go to mixer screen
- press pad a1
- it'll be highlighted
- go to the top of the channel strip and turn the knob to get it to say 1 or 5 or whatever output channel you want it to come out of.
I'm working on an SP now ( no MPC in my setup right now ) but hopefully this'll work out for you

if instead of getting a single number in the mixer screen like 1 or 5 u get 1/2 that means the sound its stereo and u have to convert it to mono so it will only take up 12 channel.
