Music Videos: What's the Deal On Them?
Hey My name is John Threat, I'm a music video director. With the dropping of the video Ipod and video itunes, now more than ever songs need a music video. 50 cents even said he is going to do a video for every track on his next album. People can now buy them and stuff.
My question to the cats on here in the industry, is what's the best way for a hungry cat like me to approach small labels and other cats to get music videos? I've gotten some label stuff, but I still mostly do independants. The latest video I did is for N.O.R.E. (you can peep it here: http://www.jeepbastard.com/video/nore3.mov ) featuring Erica Mena from the pages of King magazine.
Can anyone drop some information on this?
