Hey everyone, just signed up!

I make beats in Logic pro 9 and record vocals and mix in pro tools 10.
I have been mixing In the box and thinking of getting some outboard gear. Anybody got suggestions or have a preference between the two.
Glad to be hear and look forward to learning and working will all of you

Well the general thinking is that if you are going to take a loss by leaving the box (D/A and back to A/D) then it needs to be REALLY nice gear. To do this you will need a highend A/D/DA interface like at least a Apoggee, Lynx or better. Otherwise software EQ is much better than any hardware EQ that costs under 1k. So what interface do you have? Personally I think you are better off upgrading to the newest Logic as they just redid their EQ's and the new ones are amazing.
