okay i downloaded a pirated version of it a long time ago n i could only get the default sound to work, no sound banks n i couldnt even save any presets i made. I've heard a lot of hyp about nexus so i guess i wanna kno if its worth just buyin the damn thing, or does ne1 kno where i can dload it at? Not really a priority i got way 2 many vst's goin on neways, but one more cant hurt especially if its good...?

I had it once based on the hype but there are much better vsti's out there for hip hop in my opinion. Like I said, I had it but soon left it alone and eventually deleted it from my vst folder.

I have also heard A LOT of good stuff about Nexus.
My friend currently uses Nexus, and he cannot stop talking about it. It is his only source of vsti.

I currently use Hypersonic II and it is my primary source of vsti.
I really want to try out Nexus. I heard it has a lot of electro synth like sounds.

The brass is pretty good...and the sounds are pretty good for commercial music...

That's a big empty comment. Considering the style of sounds there is.

It's ram is based on the same sounds from Rolands and Viruses and so on.

The difference being in clarity/quality/FX processing.

All sounds from anything made after 2004 is on radio right now. Because they are all basically based on the same samples.

I wouldnt get too caught up in that though.

Alot of new placements are turning down 808s LOOOOL
So i guess that can go for Saw Leads and Pads too

BTW nexus has over 7000 patches i beleive...20 of those being different from the others

So becareful before you spend a grip or spend weeks downloading.

nexus is a rompler....... not exactly a synth...... but thats not to say it doesnt sound absolutley beautiful..... its got some of the nicest clearest sounds..... the downside to all this is that you have limited means to change the inner core of the sound..... if you are a preset kind of person than nexus is def. your thing but if your more of a sound shaper/builder than maybe you should try somthing else

Nexus. Is. Awesome.

Definitely not made for the person who wants to manipulate the sound...

Definitely made for the person who needs a high quality sound NOW.

The expansions are absolutely awesome.

Not quite sure what you're getting at with this comment, or how it exactly relates to mine being "Quote-Unquote" empty but.... ok lol
