I'm feelin' that idea but I only have 2 pieces of MIDI equipment which is the only equipment I have haha so in order to test that I would need other MIDI equipment which is money. But good drop man. I gonna see if I can evalutate on that so keep dropping people.

WEll i understand ur time is limited, u dont need to get expensive shit, u can just get a bunch of cheap midi keyboards from your friends. YOu can also use rewire with software and use a bunch of software apps. I understand ur budget is limited but trust me it can be done.... u just gotta think of differnt situtions u can test....

X who were u talkin bout??

Thought this up when I was taking out the trash..

I'm gonna be testing which instruments cause the heartrate of a young, middle-aged, and old person to change the most by letting them listening to a beat I make with different melody instruments.

That sound good for a high school science topic? It might have too many independent variables, but I can change that later.

you could do a project about how music affects people [note: not effects]. and illustrate how hiphop gives strength to people who might disrupt society without identification. Course that is probbably too abstract an people won't get it. our culture saved my live though, not from death but from servatude.... i'm sure.

Why not something simple... like noise cancellation and harmonics... it's always fun to hear

yea man, phase cancellation, that shit is fucked up, they using it to treat smokers now....

what they do is, get a machine that reads frequency (in this case a half smoked cigarette that has been wet), once the frequency has been establised it is flipped upside down, and the new signal is then passed into the persons body, via two brass balls when the are holding. this current is then passed throught their body for a certain amount of time, and it starts drawing out the nicotine from body, attracted by the brass balls, this is the machine cancelling the nicotine frewuency in the body and drawing it out. For the next few days after the treatment about 5 days, the nicotine continues to seep out of the body....the guys who had it tested on them 40 a day smokers, said when they got out of the bath, the water stank of smoke, eventually asll the nicotine is excreted out of the body and the result is the body thinks it has never had nicotine before, the memory of it has been cancelled, so bye bye addiction....

soem opinions and site for this topic...

Noise cancellation or phase cancellation is really easy to understand... And actually, the theory behind it is not that hard to cope. You could do a great project with it, using only 2 computers with speakers or 2 stereo systems....

Here are some explanations

http://www.school-for-champions.com/science/noise_cancellation.htm
(if you have other science projects, check that site out... or look for some other idea in there)

And another site with explanations

A simpler application of noise cancellation: mufflers

Enjoy!!!
