I know, this is very similar to the edit made by Nightmares On Wax; after all, edits are all similar by definition. I wanted a version of 'Summer in the Night' that I could include in my sets, and the version by Nightmares On Wax cut out parts that I liked too much, so I made this version.

Thank you for this super smooth ride. Love it.

Good to see you active @Kane the MOD

I thought about sampling Smells Like Teen Spirit for the last beat this
Took the easy way out in the end though
Yeah Right Smile GIF by Apple TV

By trap, I mean 120bpm half time boom bap
If there's 3,000 hi hats clambering to a snare that sounds like it's been crafted by smashing up the tin man with a tea spoon then I'll know I've been lied to.

I didn't do many beats this year. Had a lot of fun with this one though.

Drums hit hard and drive the track! I like the piano a lot, though felt the melody for the hook/change up seemed off a bit, i.e. it created a new vibe vs. expecting it to be layered instead of an additional rhythm, but with the right vocalist that may be the ear candy needed. The noise was a bit much, but I get that you're aiming for that dirty/gritty aesthetic, though thought it could be turned down some DBs.

Overall, nice work—solid boom bap beat, just needs a rapper!

@attila "Sun Is Shining" Really like the beat, nice flipping, has a great album interlude feel to it. I like the vocal layer in the beat and the Bob vocals work really well with the music.
"Summer In the Edit" Really dope flip, Passing Me By is one of my favourite hip hop songs. Your flip has a great cinematic feel to it. Great choice of chops, put together brilliantly, its like a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs that takes you on a journey. Panning is great.
"Nirvana" Haha, dope mashup, works really well.

@M.I.ndless "Ice Cream Wars" Dope as fuck, really like the hammer on metal sound. The drum switch up is dope too, the female vocals sound great, the synth that goes from left to right is really dope too. Makes a great bed for the main vocal to lie in. Nice work man.

@P.A.T. "Clovis" Personally I think the snare could hit a bit harder to fit with the quite upfront percussion going on. Nice beat still regardless.

@DJ Excellence "Jocking My Style" Dope remix, don't know if its the quality of the sample material but I think a nicer mix would really do this justice to make it sound more full and polished.

@Kane the MOD Firstly good to see you back. The added vinyl noise is a bit loud IMO. The beat is really dope, has a great atmosphere to it, I think you could really turn that noise down quite a bit as it overpowers the really dope beat and distracts my ears from what is dope as fuck without it.

A couple new ones for the album. With the UK rapidly becoming the dystopian nightmare George Orwell warned us about I thought Id try to do something with a bit more edge than the soulful stuff Ive been doing so far.

And this one sticks to the theme of everything else I've done for the album so far.

I hate to bring it to you but both tracks sound very melodic and soulful.

First beat tape (as my alter ego JECHO) ;) feel free to skim through, will return feedback!

Amazing. So many things happening here. The samples you picked are so sweet and the treatment Is terrific. The drums in the third track! The reversed, the choirs (like Morricone on acid) thoses retro basslines.. especially very centered all the retro sounds, more than metal (metal fan me too) I liked the distinctive sound you gave at the whole tape. I Just think the transitions are not so eccellente as the beats, anyway great work. Hats off.

These my fav so far from you. Great sense of composition, arrangement, sound. The snare on

These my fav so far from you. Solid sense of composition, structure, arrangement, rhythm, melodies and sound. The snare on Police State is a slap! On Creative Catastrophe the work on the kick is amazing! I enjoyed every second of the instrumentals, that said, I think they will be great with a rap on top too. (My sympathy for the situation, in Italy not so good neiither.)
