Great read. He's right when he says that rappers today are not even mentioning emcees or lyricism! It's common knowledge that today everyone wants to either portray an image, or emulate something they're not. That's why there are rappers that are 18 years old rapping about jewelry and guns instead of just spitting lyrics and being themselves.
