swivel, definitely good info dog, You be dropping jewels my nig. But I think a lot of us here (including me) is still basement level tryna move up. So in that situation, a producer gotta know how mix his shit to some degree. I mix and master all my shit, and over time I got real gravy with it.
On the few mix sessions I been in, it always paid off knowing that shit, because I can give feedback to the engineer. Plus just having a tight mix on your beat can make the difference in whether cats pick it. Its defnt a skill producers need to have.
