My turntable has only been playing out of one speaker recently. I know it's not the speaker because they work with everything else. I've switched up all the connections and wires and it still doesn't work. When i sample, I can turn up the left output and the volume will go up when in mono, but the right output knob doesn't do shit. Is it possible that it's the needle? Can that happen? It's a gemini, pretty standard model. Nothing too special. I need some help here. Sampling only the left output just doesn't cut it. Peace

What's your turntable hooked up to? A DJ mixer? Or is it right into your amp? I've had problems in the past with an old needle that seemed to have one side louder than the other. At least I thought it was the needle!

Can be the needle the end of the arm, or your cables, or the connection or...

You could also try cleaning the prongs at the back of the needle cartridge and where it connects inside the tonearm. Do you know what I'm talking about? That shit gave me problems a few times.
