Signups

The signups will be on January 6th at 12pm ET, and end around 8pm ET, or until we reach 16 contestants (whichever comes first).
Voting will be each day from 8am ET to 7pm ET.

• You must make a Kanye West type of beat!

Voting Criteria

You can use whatever sounds you want, samples, synths, just remember to read the rules for the rest of the restrictions. What the judges will be looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

as already said i did a beat that was the worst beat ever. a crap even for the worst beat ever theme. I was thinking of wanting to send it because it was remarkable, even if in a negative way. In the end, I made another one, which is at least mediocre. hope so. as for whether it's kanye west style... not sure, waiting for your expert opinion.

I'm disappointed we didn't get a full turnout because I thought a Kanye theme would bring out more people.

I think we have @allagory @thekoolkrush , and @P.A.T., along with my favorite, probably the opponent of @P.A.T. Actually, I'm not very fond of the intro/chorus, just the drum and bass part. It's so good that I think it’s my choice for the winner, even though other beats are much richer and more complex (@thekoolkrush , @P.A.T. for instance, stunning works btw guys) Again, my beat isn't my favorite (and, damn, I forgot about the loudness war, I should make a higher volume master).
Maybe I’ll share my first attempt which was really a crap—even too much for the worst beat ever theme. However, judging by what I’ve heard, it might not have been entirely unacceptable in terms of K.W. style...
