The signups will be on March 4th at 12pm ET, and end around 8pm ET, or until we reach 16 contestants (whichever comes first).
Voting will be for 1 day, on March 5th at 12pm ET, where the results will be posted the same day.

Voting Criteria

You can use whatever sounds you want, samples, synths, just remember to read the rules for the rest of the restrictions. What the judges will be looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

You can submit only one if you want but the plan with Warzone and Battle That is so that everyone has 4 beats, which of course makes it challenging and you have to take a chance on what round you put your beats.

it's a weird one. People sometimes get agitated by it n got vocal about it... especially if someone made the effort to make 4 beats, then have to decide which goes in which round. Lot of effort. then to go out against someone who's not respected the battle i guess.

so i strongly believe there are likely people who will hear a '1 beat' and be biased and vote against it. or at least have that as a consideration.

So... personally, i get it. and think a 1 beat version of warzone could be cool. But yeah, as it stands, it has its politics and considerations.

That single beat in the last one got further than me, can't hate on it... well, in this battle, a recording of squeaky brakes would take me out rd #2 no problem.

I considered this before.

I also started doing like 4 remakes, like, make a beat, remake it 3 more times.

Then I won by entering my first real boombap attempts haha.
