hehehe...I live 5 miles from the northpole...you would think he would get me all of those things....yeah right...I'll be lucky if he left a kazoo on my door step.

I'm wanting to get a pair of decent studio monitors... I'm currently using some not bad stereo speakers but don't know if monitors is worth the $$$... fuckin alot of cash for a pair of monitors.

there is one on ebay right now. its at $1000 with the reserve not met.... might as well go with the mpc 2000 used with all the extras for what that is going to cost....

I probably will end up getting a MPC2000XL, I dont want to have too turn on a computer whenever i want samples. The 1000 also has less features then the 2000, and they cost about the same. Also, One of the reasons i want an MPC is to stay away from computers when making beats.

Yo I feel ya Helix. You can't go wrong wit tha MPC's. Just tha feel of tha pads alone beats any drum machine out there. Get that 2000xl man I'll love yaself for it.
