hehe, another thing you'd miss without PT are some nice plugin's not available as VST's or DX. At least, I haven't seen any Focusrite vst's yet.

Not that I care, I love hardware hehe and I gotta Compounder hehe.

i know logic nuendo and PT all pretty well... i like logic the best .. but i dont think theres any advantages to PT except that more people use it ... but like someone else said the shit is shifting a little bit with more cats usin logic and nuendo... but the "signal routing" thing dude was talkin bout can be done on logic as well... i dont think theres anything in PT that cant be done in logic or nuendo as well...

yo ace... what results are you talkin bout ... the difference in sound quality when using it on a different soundcard is so negligable you cant tell... what are yall talkin bout

You said the difference is different so the only way you could have used PT with another card than the hardware comin wiht PT is to have use PT Free with another card???

And if so did you compared a mix done by the same engineer done the same way, one mixed on a system and the second on the another system, then you compared them on the same monitors in same acoustic environment????

Holla me back wi that...

yo if you doin the final mastering at your crib... maybe you got a point... but for producers who just end up sellin the beat or sending it off to get mastered... its a pointless difference

Every step of audio production need the maximum quality, so you, even just doin beats, deserve to have good tool!!

You put your effort to produce a bangin track, so you got the have the best tool you can.
The initial product is important! A mastering/mixing engineer won't do a hit with something sounding dull.
