WTF is mastering bass?

I am compelled to write something on this matter cause on some lesser forums this crops up along with 'mastering vocals' and 'mastering beats'. You don't master these aspects, you mix them. Anyway some nuggets of wisdom reside within even for those who already know about B-line.

Cheers

You're right bro. You don't master individual tracks such as bass or vocals, you mix them. Once you have completed mixing all these tracks and you have a two track version (a stereo file) then you master that.

I think people who don't understand the difference use both words interchangeably.
