Thought I would do a post here since I just signed up to the forum and it seemed like the right thing to do.
Well, I'm from Denmark and I've been doing beats for about a week (yeah holy shit!). I'm an old guy and although I'm new to producing beats, I have a past behind two turntables and a mixer.
My setup is currently pretty basic. I'm running Logic on a Macbook Pro and purchased a Maschine to bang out my beats on. I played drums when I was younger, so even though it's all pretty new to me I feel like I'm doing ok and have been seeing progress all week.
Being my age, my main inspiration comes from 90s hiphop, not to much into a lot of the new stuff but try to keep an open mind. Among some of my all time favourite artists are Gravediggaz, Delinquent Habits and other shit like that.
I'll most likely just be giving feedback and not posting to many beats till I get better, but yeh anyway looks like a dope forum and I'm glad to be here.
