Ah, I almost forgot: I recycled the drum kit from another beat that I didn't like anymore (aside from the house rhythm) in the rush to make the 4 beats.We try... mutual respect, you already know.

I don’t mind a little recycling. If you haven’t realized, this was my Battle That R1 beat.
I actually made these drums in Acid Pro a couple weeks ago. Chopping up some of the factory loops. Re-sampled into Maschine and layered some additional sounds. The break and fills were pulled from the Apple Loops library.

Oh no, I didn't notice. But I swear, I held back from saying it sounded a bit familiar, as I thought it would be rude! Lol! The Apple library, when I scroll through it, seems really cool, fills are oj, noises and field recordings too, but then I can hardly ever use anything when I need it... Thank you @attila I finally learned what that number stands for. A dope entry from start to finish. Nothing I would usually listen to. I couldn't even identify it as house music to be honest.

me too I thought the drums too soft - maybe not a different pattern, just a harder sound, like compression, not sure - anyway I think you rightif attila hit with some hard drums this could have been a wrap

I almost exclusively use drums from the Apple loops library. There are great melodic loops, but I struggle to find ways to incorporate them. Often I'll just chop up several different loops in the Q-Sampler or just use them as place-holders before going back and recreating them.
