The Lab. Where the magic happens and where the wine is drunk. Those two relatively new additions to the studio, the plants, were rescued from a small pot where they were dying. They are doing well, thanks for asking.

How's the plants coming along? Had zero updates.

I recently moved some things around in an attempt to streamline my setup. Having the ART and Scarlett is great for tracking either stereo or mono. I happened to be using the MPC this past weekend, but that spot on the desk is a floating position. I like being able to quickly swap out the MPC for either the JU-06A, TB-03, or MicroKorg.

The next piece I want is the Audient EVO. It’s got JFET ins for guitar/bass and multiple outputs so I can easily sample anything into the MPC or Maschine.

Since I've moved to a new place, might as well whip it out. I also have an MPK mini (and a MPC studio, which unfortunately does nothing for me because I'll be damned if I have to relearn their software for the 3rd time to use it).

Next big purchase after some car stuff is upgrading the desk to an 80"x30" sit/stand conference table so I can fit everything onto it, and the chair actually tucks under.


What my basement suite lacks in space, it also doesn't make up for in not having ants.

Cant recommend 32:9 more. I split the screen into quadrants and i can have everything i need open all at once. Just not the odyssey g9 that I have. Major QC issues on every model that samsung has ignored and continued to make even in the newer generations.
