    the way you chop/flip them which part of the song/music you sample pitch of the sample using effects (delay, filter, reverb, distortion, etc) most important: digging for unique samples. There's a website called http://www.whosampled.com which keeps track of used samples by the more known artists.

    @Iron Keys, Congrats on the win! Some dope beats overall, which didn't make voting easy. For me it was a little difficult to find the "hook" in the samples, without destroying the vibe of it. That bass of the first sample is getting a permanent spot in my sample library though... (y)

    I think the piano is still low-mid, if not you might want to change the 'key' your working in. And like you said, use a 'roll off EQ' on the low frequencies.
