    a link 2 the interview where madlib introduced the 303 http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/TUTORS.9.0.html?act_session=47 and why not compare the MPC to a 303 they are both sampler, obviously a mpc has more features and shaper sound but not every person who samples is a pro user.

    yeah madlib does the whole beat on the 303 than records it to a digital mulitrack or a tape. he then deletes the samples and makes another beat. if u wanna hear what his 303 beats sound like then listen to madvillian or jaylib cos all the beats he did on those two cds were 303 beats.
