    I think this often happens, particularly with country... but with the "other genre" themes. Even myself I think I was slightly guilty in the past on one. Key is on focusing on key identifiers and feelings of the style, but ensuring to lock in key identifiers of hip hop, particularly the groove...

    Appreciate you, brother. It came together surprisingly easier than I might have expected - I chopped up about 5 different country records, used different sections of each, chopped those up.     I think the issue with beats like that, is, if you're making a record you're putting out there for sales/plays, do whatever But I think, here in battles, where it's a lot about originality, skill, creativity... sometimes it feels a bit cheap when someone just slaps drums over a pre-existing...

    Doubtful. EQ isn't merely technical choices, it's moreso creative. And within that, notice I said choices --- sometimes unless it's something really bad it's still choice.

    I wouldn't say I have, just that I heard a good beat with a decent mix, and so I'm assuming based off the quality. The one I suspect to be Cr's, I knew within 0.5 seconds ha.

    Few really good beats in there, with good mixes too. I think I've noticed Cr Ea Tw and Ar 's beats. Maybe 2g too Wouldn't be surprised to see those ones make up the final standings. Rough to hear such good work, when you've been making duds
