    well, the Roland A880 which has 8 out and 8 in which you can link to eachother, so you can say input 1 ( mpc 1 ) connects to any of the 8 outs. This switching of ports can be done via midi messages ( they're programs just like synths ). So on any of the 8 out I can place a chain with up to 16...

    This flash issue has been handled befor...you can fit an ide flashreader in a mpc2kxl with no problems at all. I dunno how much they go for but they cant be that expensive these days. They didn't include USB because the 1k already has USB and is cheaper so there no point in making it cost...

    ergo ergo....nomicaly dudes, we have shortkeys for that... FL uses F5 to F10 to move around the proggie, Logic makes you set your own, cubase uses the function keys and Reason doesn't need any. I can switch to anything I want quicker than reason because I dont need to scroll up and down 100...

    I have an mpc to the midipatchbay, I dunno, there's like 18 ( Im not counting the shit )devices hooked up to it excluding the midi I/O towards the RME.
