Honestly, you need to pound the pavement a bit and make local contacts. Take beat CD's with you EVERYWHERE you go. You never know where you're going to run into a potential client. Rewiring to other applications (Recording Vocals etc)
The way I've used FL with Cubase is by using it as a multi-out VSTi. Kinda the same as rewiring it, but you don't always have to have the FL GUI running. -

That's one of the reasons I dumped my old hardware setup. Speed. I do miss my old gear, but I DON'T miss the sheer amount of space it took up in my house or the amount of pain I went through moving all of that shit. -

A fast G3 is enough to use Cubase and more than two plugins. I run a P3-850 w/768MB RAM and I can load up more than a few plugins in SX2. I JUST switched to SX2 recently from VST32-5.1R2. Granted, I could run far more plugins in 5.1 than SX2, but SX2's new features allow me to free up clock... -
