Well there are so many plugins that a keyboard simply cant do. For example VSL BFD IVory etc that no keyboard could have the power do to. And then of course all the record and UI stuff. Yes you can get better sounds with a computer You did not get any good refills, so many top 40 songs are built in Reason. But yea Fl with good sounding plugins would be great as well.- thedreampolice

Well thanks dac, and I agree show confidence but at the same time you need to help customers when they have questions. MOTU rarely delivers, in fact http://www.motunation.com was started so MOTU users could get help because MOTU would not help them. And no that was NOT started by MOTU lol- thedreampolice

What I hate about MOTU is more about how crappy they treat there customers than anything else. Since I got to deal with allot of these guys first hand I saw all the political BS that goes on. MOTU seems to have one employee that really helps customers and everyone else there seems to not care...- thedreampolice

yea, I have not been able to hear one yet. But my friends at SW love them! If you don't have PT you NEED to get an Mbox just to transfer sessions like you talked about. I am sure the preamps rock in these! AVID really has something to prove now.- thedreampolice

@dac I was talking about MI retail which is strictly instrument sales. And that is about 4billion I have no idea how big the total pie is for record sales or tours. I would guess considerably bigger.- thedreampolice

ARC Acoustic Room Correction
It works great, I mean make sure your room is properly treated first. But after that ARC it up. Do remember that it does need a special measurement mic that comes with it to work. But what does it matter to you? You use hardware only and just use your computer for posting here :)- thedreampolice
