"Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers"
OMG awesome!
There is just to much awesome in this article wow.
Well first off, not to hate but if your samples are MP3's you are really hurting the quality of your samples. And second, sorry my friend you will have to convert them all for Reason to use them.
I agree 100% I make good money on my beats, I don't care one bit if someone wants to give some away. Hell if I find an awesome project that I believe in I will give some away just to help the artists and guess what happens? When they do have money they always spend it with me.
ha ha, well if you are already a mac user stay with it. But even a mac mini will blow away your old g4 oh and BTW the new mac pros are right around the corner. Of course you could pick up a used mac pro on ebay. But yea I don't encourage people to switch platforms for no good reason. What is...

2" tape
ADAT

Seriously if I did not know pro tools I would not have a chance of working at those studios...
Reaper is a great program but is shit on a resume. Logic knowledge can maybe help get you a job. Again if this is just your own music then who cares use what you like. But man I think everyone should know pro tools, you will just miss opportunities if you cant use it.
VM stands for virtual machine and running hard core audio apps that way totally sucks! Can I ask why you are so worried about getting cubase running? I didn't think you use it anyway? As far as switching to Reason IDK, I personally am a HUGE reason fan and wrok 99% in that program these days but...
Naa thats not true, they both are fantastic Pro tools has a TON of features that logic does not have. If you are working with a bunch of midi data Logic is better for sure but its getting close. Again the big question is do you ever want to work in a real recording studio? If so learn Pro tools now.
