    Fatality FIGHT! Battle #14

Each to their own, everybody has their own style, no point trying to put people into little boxes. Let the creativity flow, if its dope its dope. Dope doesnt equal aggressive, but when push comes to shove it might just decide a battle. But dont let that force you into a corner Gotta roll with...

BLAST FROM THE PAST: Mad Skillz!

yeah man, i only found out this was a Dilla beat when I found the video to share here. But when you listen to it now, the fingerprints are all over it. I had this album on repeat when it came out, havent heard the album for years. I remember a freestyle session on Tim Westwoods Radio 1 show...

@Matt-D This is really nice, mixed really nicely. I would add a touch of room reverb to that snare and the hats and maybe filter the piano a touch in the midrange. Other than that, great work man. This is my favorite from you so far

What genres apart from hip hop do you produce?

I used to be very closed minded In my teens and early 20's to anything that wasnt an underground genre. If it wasnt hip hop, drum n bass, or uk garage I wasnt interested. It was only after I joined here that I really started to appreciate old music from the 60's onwards, as I had to dig for...

What genres apart from hip hop do you produce?

@Memento Beats I couldnt imagine you as a rocker, especially not metal, you surprise me, and a singer too. Multi talented. EDM is really growing on me too and influences a lot of my music. Hard gritty synths are the future hahaha I think if you can produce to a high standard, and you can, then...

What genres apart from hip hop do you produce?

hahahahahaha, yeah same for me really to be honest, except for the drum n bass all the others are a bit "experimental" especially dancehall and reggae.

I didnt realise how good FL Studio was

@DJ Dope-Needlz If pitching drums is something you need dont use FPC, also having your kick on its own channel is essential for side-chained compression. With the drums on their own channels, and preferrably in their own tracks it makes drum variation very easy, including opening up the piano...

What genres apart from hip hop do you produce?

I thought Id ask as I cant be the only one that dabbles in a few genres. Personally I do hip hop and rnb as standard, my next favourite genre is drum n bass, I also dabble in a little house and edm, and finally I do a little dancehall and reggae. What about you guys, what genres do you produce...

I didnt realise how good FL Studio was

Ive made more beats in the last couple days than I have in weeks, on drum n bass now hahahaha. Gross beat is sick for risers. Honestly havent enjoyed making music so much in years

The Flying Guitar - "Jeux Interdits"

It took me a while to get past the 1 bar crappy drum loop stage, as for mixing, its pretty universal, the only differences are routing methods and which stock plugins are available, and how good they are. I think Im finally past the point of being overwhelmed by the interface, Im banging beats...

The Flying Guitar - "Jeux Interdits"

Ive finished my second flip now, cleaned up the mix, and changed that sound @crosstevsky was talking about, added some more obvious variation so its not too repetitive. Starting to get to grips with the FL workflow now, its growing on me pretty fast.
