    How long does it take?

    honestly it can take anything from a couple hours to over a week. like clev said chemistry with the artist can make things happen very fast. one of the tracks on the forthcoming album was done from scratch in about 3 hrs. i havent included mixing time tho, that can take more than 3 hrs alone.

    wow. im really liking the look of that. im gonna hold out on 6.5 and wait for 7. the auto parallel track is a nice touch. saves a bit of time on the routing. also nice to see they have integrated recycle.

    Kohie. I really like the sample its has a great atmosphere to it, the drums work really well they have a dirtiness which really adds to the track. I can see this working as a skit on its own.

    No its not me rapping, its a guy called Digital High Fidelity. I really like your beat, Im a fan of those snake charmer type sounds, you have built around it very nicely. The track has a lot of energy.

    Yeah, I try to stay concious of the frequencies, i try to think "A place for everything & everything in its place" and not have too much going on at any particular frequency.

    I would assume that by picking the right sounds ie. sounds that fit into each specific frequency range with an idea of keeping frequency clash to a minimum, it then minimizes the work you need to do in the mixing stage, as most of the work is already done. And good sounds in = less work trying...
