MPC Instruments now available as VSTs

Just got an email from AIR telling me the instruments in the MPC have now been released as stand-alone VSTs. Kinda handy for people like me who move between MPC and Ableton. Apologies if this is old news. https://www.airmusictech.com/virtual-instruments.html

    The Batman

Wasn’t sure where to put this but I watched The Batman yesterday and really enjoyed the sound design so I wanted to recommend it. So much gritty and raunchy bass going on. Just wait till the batmobil turns up ❤️❤️

    Drum machines like the Volca

I've a Volca Beat which I love the sound of, but it's broken now. I was going to get another but then I wondered if there's something better that maybe has a similar analogue sound. Something like the Arturia Impact or the Tanzmaus? Anyone got any recommendations?

    Dreaded clicks

So is this going to be a nightmare? I’ve got a Circuit Rhythm > guitar pedal > scarlet 18i8 > usb hub > MPCOne and Im getting clicks when I record into the MPC sampler. Never noticed this before. Do I just go through the chain and see what’s causing it or is it something obvious?

    Paying for a mix?

Just curious if anyone has payed a professional to mix their stuff? I'm tempted to try it as an experiment, just not sure if it's worth the expense, or what the process is like. I had a look at soundbetter.com but those guys are way out of my budget!! Is there anywhere else worth checking out?

Is a Digitakt worth a try?

I sold some gear and I'm very tempted to spend the cash on something from Elektron as people seem to rave about their usability. I don't really have the budget for the bigger stuff, but I could stretch to a Digitakt. But I'm worried that it doesn't really offer much to someone who uses an MPC...

    Howdy!

Mornin' all. I've been making beats for about a year. Been faffing about on a number of platforms but have settled on a MPC One for now. Just trying to learn the craft and hoping to produce something half decent any day now. Looking forward to learning, feedback, collaborating and of course...
