    Yes, it's called logic Express lol. I purchased logic Express 7.2 for 200$....liked it....then upgraded to Logic Studio for ($250 more) as soon as it hit the stores.

    I don't think it's the successor to the 909.....OK..They gave it some things the most recent 909's should've had like: CF instead of SMART MEDIA, they extended the RAM also, and added motorized faders, but the 909 already had in screen automation....but the 808 is still missing all of the synth...

    I was doing that, but I ended up getting more gear....the AW16g ( the model before the AW16000 ) only has 8 inputs: 2 xlr, and 6 1/4...and I like to run stereo outs. DO you run stereo outs or LMONO??????

    Thanx for the info CUZ Actually I have two Bheringer( just something to start out with ) tube pre's and a Samson SCOM already. It's just that one of my homies disagreed with the way I by passed the mixer and ran my mic through the pre and SCOM straight to the multitrack.... Exactly...

    I agree with Doc, headphones are good, but it's not good to listen to them at high levels for long periods of time. Not to mention trying to mix with them ;0( With monitors, you get to sit back crank up the levels and really hear what's going on. A' Doc, I also have MAUDIO BX-5a's(luv'em)...
