Voting

If you are competing, you will be able to vote but not for yourself. DO NOT TRY TO CHEAT! I will be watching for cheaters. This means you cannot sign up under different names or get your friends and family to sign up either. If you are caught cheating you could be banned.

Voting Criteria

You can use whatever sounds you want, samples, synths, just remember to read the rules for the rest of the restrictions. What the judges will be looking for is originality, creativity, mixing skills and overall dopeness!

Beats

All the beats will now be displayed in a random order and without any names. All you will see is: Beat #001, Beat #002, etc. This is so that there is no favoritism when voting.

Rules

If you're not sure about the rules, read this thread.

If you have any comments, suggestions, or questions about the competition, please post them in here.

I cast my vote........ .surprisingly, not for my$elf... i had one of those samples downloaded that the person i voted for used.... but i thot it was probly played out..so i kept my gun theme and dug deeper into america's psyche....

Fade's "LOL @ people that fall down stairs" Review:

@2GooD Productions - Nice organ! Good low end that fits just right with the kick (I thought the kick might be a bit too punchy). The horn is a nice touch. Props on the sleigh bells.

@DJ Excellence - As expected! Some Boom Bap Xmas. I really like that piano and you did a good job on the piano chops with the scratches. Drums could bang a bit more but they go well with the piano.

@DR.O - The horns are really good, just slightly off from the piano. It's weird that it works but just enough. Overall I just think the mix could be a bit tighter.

@Face Valid - Good use of that Nat King Cole song. Very smooth. The piano and drums carry nicely. The strings come in at the right time. I just want to hear more of a bassline.

@InsideOutBeats - Drums and bass go well together. The vocals get repetitive really fast though. Nice sleigh bells. It would have been go to hear more of those strings.

@Mefisto Beats - Nice beat. Good scratches. The music has a good Xmas sound but could pop a bit more. Good spacing in your mix.

@NonxG - The keys sound really good, goes well with the bass but the bass is a bit heavy and take away from the music. Charlie Brown vocals are a nice touch.

@SJAMBOK BEATS - That's a really long intro! Drums are on point, and blends nicely with those vocals. Mix is really good.

@TaylorV - Nice intro. The drums blend nicely with the low end. I like the vibe of the beat but it would have been good to have more of a Xmas feel to it.

@Vtrain56 - Piano sounds good, nice sleigh bells. The drums could bang a bit more in the mix but sound good. I wish the bassline was stronger. Strings were good.

@Walidank - This had more of a Jazz vibe at the beginning then more Xmas as you brought in that melody. Nice mix.

@Wesbeats - Good intro. I like it when the drums drop in, it sounds just right. Bassline could be a bit busier but it blends well. Nice effects on the vocals, I just wish it had bit of a variety.
