Ruimixx - I like this one and i like the added sample too, and the melody is nice, has a grimey feel to it. im hearing you on the dj front.
Im going to get my decks out and start adding some scratches to my work, its an essential missing ingredient. A lot of the dope battle beats have scratching on. Its the way forward I think.

Yes, definitely! That's my favorite element of any hip hop track. Due to my budget and the other non-musical obligations I have, decks are far from being purchased. I'm going to start exploring fruity scratcher's capabilities and try to make it as realistic as I can for now.
