I knoe most of the ppl in here are from the US and dont care about Soccer but im mainly talkin to the cats from Europe..this is gonna be a sick Tournament coming up this Saturday starting with Switzerland vs. Czech Republic but for me it starts with Portugal vs. Turkey which starts at 2 30 on espn Classic..im real siked for this and im rooting for my home team Spain!!!..for those who wanna see the games there all televised on the ESPN networks for the first time ever...LETS GO SPAIN!!!

i feel you but u cant just say the czech or the portugese are gonna win as long as france italy and germany are playin u never knoe ..but hoping for the best for spain..every euro cup and world cup we have huge expectations but maybe this year can be the year............i hope

Fury, i take it your Spanish? yeah every year Spain get tipped for it, but always fall, oftn dramatically. though theres talk this year that they have enouh world class players, Torres, Fabregas etc. that they can do it. idk, spain jus seem cursed.
Germany got a gd chance, they were very good in last world cup, and are very organised and efficent, as always
Italy are still strong, world champions, i can see them doin the double like France did a few years back
France, no chance, imo, there jus too tempremental, too inconsistant
Netherlands, always tipped, but i think they have actually got a chance this year, got some class palyers, just got to stay away from trouble on the training ground
Portugal, i really hope they dont do anything, im fed up of hearing about Ronaldo, i hate the player, and if Portugal win, Ronaldo will be worshipped, and that would be detrimental to the world
The outisde bet is considered to be Poland, idk, i cant see them doin much

me? being Englsih i have chosen Czech Republic to support this year, though as Woohff said, no Rosicky is a huge loss (lol, woohff, he been out since january, i should have really known that)

nah, they got Puyoal, Arbeloa and Ramos. but most importantly they got Casillas
theyll qualify, easily. but 2nd round against Italy/Netherland/France is gonna b hard

if you had the chance, look at the dutch defense...IT SUCKS!! we lack a good defense atm and nobody understands the big van basten so i think were not making much of a chance.

yes i am from spain....but cmon Ronaldo is the man def my favorite player in the world the dude is sick..if spain falls i wanna see portugal take it

I can understand you wanting Portugal to do well, but liking Ronaldo?????
you dont see him week in week out, dive, harass the ref, wind up opposition players, talk trash, talk in the post match interview about his great performance (and a good supportin performance from the team), and see him hog the ball, try and take on players countless times... and fail. im not sayin he's not a gd player, im saying he's a grade A &%£$!. i just dont like him
like after the Champions League final he said something along the line of "i dont care that i missed one penalty, coz i scored 40 odd goals in the season"!!!
he wasnt upset about missin the penalty, coz he'd scored a goal in a match
his attitude towards football is appalin, imo

right, enough about Ronaldo

Holland will still crash and burn though, theyll hit the semis and go out
France game was bad, france arent gonna qualify (though there sittin better than Italy atm)
Germany looked very strong as well
