    there are a few songs with some good sounds in them and i would love to sample them but how do you just get the strings and not the bass or the drum and not the strings should i use CE or something like it? and how to match the tempo? i have alot to learn.

    if you have a turn table i suggest you looking in to Stantons's Final Scratch man that shit is cold. you can load wav. files mp3 and cd's and scratch them like records.

    is it a 2000 or the 2000XL the old 2000 wouldnt read those cd you have to get mpc editor its a prog. that converts the wav. sounds on the cd to snd. files because those CD's arent MPC format. it sucks.

    hey you could get a AT3035 (audio technica) for $199 and then get you a nice pre like a joe meek or an art tube the joe mee is 199 and the art tube is like 99 they have compression on them and they sound great. i have the 3035 and the joe meek mq3 and man mad me sound like whoa! hope this helps...
