i just know that i can do so much more on a comp. its alot faster i can load alot more sounds into it. i could save for a mpc4000 but why pay all that money when i can build a comp and get software for a whole lot cheaper and do a whole lot more. -

thanks for all the answers because im just lost. i went to the music store after finding out that P5 dont have a midi out function so that kill that right away. so the guy was like "get cubase and halion" thats $700 in software plus with me building my comp shit thats almost $1400 thats way out... -

yes that is true i would look into a joe meek pre amp if ya funds are right, and as for a keyboard fantom is nice and so is the mo phat i have roland xp60 love it to death everyone and their momma has a triton, i would look at the roland or the motif. and add moduals from there. -

ok check this out i have a roland VS-1880 recorder and i have a sound blaster midi interface now the trick is how do i get drum sounds like i get with the mpc and out of my computer into my vs unit because if i can do that then you best believe im jumping into pc shyt. thanks for the help. -
