    In my experience most of those "active users" are bots trying to sell fake promotion. Im also seeing people saying that you have to pay for a pro account to get heard on soundcloud, since they hit monetary problems and there was talking of the site collapsing its only gone further down hill.

I saw an artist(painter) once say "Never throw away your art" he said because you can see your progression, but for me it also allows you to go back to some of my best beats from the past and bring them up to date with my current skill...
