Well done illbrethren!! I'm surprised about the variety, no 2 beats really sounding the same. Interesting to see what direction people took. Not as easy a sample as some people may have initially thought. A lot of the sample is chords, notes that don't fit in to the typical "key" etc Like...- Iron Keys

Can i turn Plain Sine to Decent sounding Bass?
Harmonic Distortion. Slap some kind of "saturator" or "warmth" / "distortion" plug in on it. Hard to find ones that do this in a smooth way. Depends what you're trying to acheive. As mentioned RBass is good but costly. You can get good sounds out od 308 emultions (308? 301?) Whatever the... -

Stop using reverb on your snare.
Yeah love that width. I used to acheive it by playing with room verb until it almost didn't sound like a reverb. -

Stop using reverb on your snare.
Just get you a verb with that pre-delay. Let that crack show uncensored. Great tip tho.
