Appreciate the reply. Anyone else can help with a more intstructive way of how to go about doing this?! Need some nice synthetic 80's sounding stab. Got one on an instrument I don't own, doesn't sound exactly how I want it though, so would like more creative control. -

It was listed on beatport under 'Glitch-Hop'. Though glitch-hop I got shown was really 'agreeable' and dull sounding compared to this. Sounds like funky electro hiphop to me. Some of them I thought quite cool. -

Dubstep production in hip-hop music?
That 2nd Foreign Beggars track is pretty cool to be honest! Dubstep with "urban"/rap vocals basically ends up = Grime. It seems pretty much unavoidable, I think it's due to the 2 step(?) pattern at those 130-140 tempos that causes the rhythm of the flow to sound that way. That Nero track... -

Personally, this is just my 2, 4, and 30pence... When you plan on working with a vocal artist/topliner (as in someone writing the lyrics), the structure of the song can change... this is why I would say it's not necessary to worry about having a perfectly defined structure to the song before... -
