Wings Gettin' Disrespected -> "One who knows, speaks not; one who speaks, knows not"

I worked in the electronic scene to make some cash even though hip-hop is my first love because it is easier. After putting out a few electronic albums I am working on getting my hip-hop chops up. Its night and day difference. Man I love hip-hop.

What do you use yo mix your tracks?

I usually do not mix in logic. I love logic to death it simply has the best midi sequencer ever. The mix engine is ok but I love the mix engine in Samplitude much better. I am in a unique situation as I work in several different production environments and must use many different pieces of...

    Ableton Live Light

I use abelton for arranging and recording live parts. I start the composition in reason, then rewire it to abelton to record guitar, scratchs and so on. Then I export the recorded parts out and make them rex files and dump them back in to reason, or I export my reason parts and dump them in to...

what are sum ways to get the cpu to stay down

"(actually using similar size on both slots is recommended)" um no its not unless you are using RDram(rambus) both DDR and PC133/100 can mix and match without any issue. "now i have 768" so you are not following your own advice as you have a 512 and a 256 stick.

?? If you can only go to 512 you must have a really old system. I really need more info such as specs and programs you are using.

anone recommend a gritty, warm, condenser mic?

It just depends on the ribbon. Newer ones are much more rugged, but still you can not use them like you would other mics for hip hop. You really shouuld not "eat" the mic. Other than that a few feet should be fine.
