Beats for a Live shows
Time after time when i do live shows the sound man tells me i should roll off the bottom end. Im assuming i should cut everything below a certian frequency. Which frequency should i cut too? Are there any other frequencys i should remove? Basically i want to optimize my beats for a PA system... -

Delay time
ok ive been using delay as a sort of echo effect forever now. but I alwayz just mess with the delay time till it sounds good. now i figure there must be a formula to find the time that i should set my delay for. for example if my beat is 89 bpm then each eighth note runs for a specific time. so... -

experiments with midi
I do pretty much everything with pro-tools. Mixing, sampling, recording, you name it. But ive never used midi. all my gear is midi capable, but i have no idea how to use the midi side of pro tools. Could anyone out there fill me in on where to start, and a bit of the basics?:confused: -

DAE. drive too slow or fragmented error in pro tools
