Tracking Out Beats
I'm trying to track out a beat from FL Studio into Audition as WAV files. The way I'm doing it is by soloing each track (i.e Kick Drum, Snare Drum, Hi Hat etc) and exporting each track as a WAV file. The problem I'm having is that the WAV file for each track ends up being around 97mb, so for a... -

USB Mic (Monitoring Vocals)
At the moment I’m using a Samson USB mic and adobe audition to record vocals. The problem is that when recording, I can see the waveform generating on the track but my MC can’t hear what he’s recording through the headphones and he reckons it’s really off-putting not being able to hear... -

That's a good idea. Perhaps if you're recording outside you could even record some of the background and atmos noise seperatley and then use that as a 'noise profile' in Audition. Then use noise removal to remove that element from your vocal takes. Make sense? Wouldn't suggest making it too... -

Yeah that's one way to do it but because it's the same voice over and over it just soundsl iek a bunch of androids- to get that real 'crowd' effect you need plenty of different voices with different timbres and pronounciations. Cheers Daymo -

I actually done this effect a few years back. Get as many people in the booth as you can and record them all shouting the word(s) similtaneously. Then do it another few times and layer the takes together. Cheers Daymo -
