    In sound forge 6.0, all you do is go to options, preferences, go to the "file" tab, and click "delete temporary files on close". In Sound Forge 7.0 & 8.0, all you do is go to options, preferences, click the "general "tab, and look for "delete temporary files on close" and click the box.
