What to use?
I currently use all samples when making beats. I'd like to be able to enhance my beats with strings/piano/horns etc played from a keyboard/VSTor sample cd, thru my midi keyboard. i generaly sample funk records so i'm after something that would suit that style of track?! any... -

FL piano roll
Just a Quickie, I'm using FL3 and I would like to know if theres a way of copying a pattern so that the recorded notes in the piano roll are copied over as well. Its peeing me off that I have to keep going back into each sample in the piano roll of one pattern and 'select all/copy/pasteing'... -

Rite, its time i got a midi keyboard. I'm usin fruity loops and Cool Edit I want it so i can start playing bass notes, and to play my chopped up samples whats the best keyboard to get? It needs to be small/compact, be velocity sensitive but not nessacarily have pitch bend etc - yeah... -

I wish i could find a decent MC to spit on my beats, Its funny cos alot of people say they rap but not alot are actualy any good - like most unsigned MC's i hear, their timing is off key or they just sound too jiggy. Anyone else have this problem? Perhaps this has more to do with my location... -

i was playing my beats to a signed UK emcee the other day and he was saying my beats could do with being 'Brighter' in the hi end, i understand low end theory and bass etc, but I'm wondering what techniques you guys use to brighten your high frequencies other than boosting them! -

Drum patterns in Fruity loops
Hi guys, Just wonderin what you fruity users do to avoid that static quantised feel in your beats. I know you can set the swing setting but my beats still feel to rigid - any tips?
