    Yeah i've synthesized my own drums before, it's not that hard to do but it is hard to get good results from it. If your looking to make a good 909 or 808 sounding kit then using synthesis is a good way to go about doing it.

    Logic 7 vs Hardware!!!!!

    The plug-ins and effects you get with logic 7 are really damn good, some of the best you can get. I've never had an mpc before but am using logic 7 at the moment and love it.

    It's all about corners and chi city. Both those tracks are too heavy. The album definately isn't the classic they say it is, but it's still a lot better then any other big hip hop album.

    I just don't like how people are calling themselves producers when they ain't. They are beatmakers, thats what I am. The word producer gets thrown around too much. I love it though how nearly anyone can start making music at a low price.

    I had all the midi properties workin good but couldn't get the vsts to work. I just selected some vsts in the vst instrument selection then opened a few midi tracks. Then on the inspector I put midi in to all midi inputs and then midi out to one of the vsts and it worked! It's obvious really but...

    I have a Evolution midi keyboard and it works fine in Fruityloops and Reason but will not work in Cubase Sx. Basically what I want to do is be able to control vst instruments with my keyboard but it won't seem to work, any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
